PAMELA MAY 2 Trip Boat

As At March. 2019 –

The current Pamela May trip boat is now 25 years old and with at least 100 outings and more than 500 miles a year, IS STILL LOOKING GOOD! The aim is to replace her with Pamela May 2 a state of the art electric powered boat providing clean air and quiet cruising. The new boat will be 5 ft longer giving greater safety and comfort for twelve passengers instead of ten.

The current Pamela May has an interesting history and will be missed! Click the following boat sketch to STORY OF THE PAMELA MAY.pdfobtain a download PDF file of its beginnings!

The Pamela May has been purchased by the Canal Ministries charity to be used at the Barnoldswick Marina in Lancashire and so continue the charity work that the boat was designed for.

The replacement boat, Pamela May II, has been custom designed by Trust members and has just been moved from Tyler Wilson, the steel shell works, to the fitting out shop at Ortomarine.
