The Droitwich Junction Canal from Hanbury Wharf on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal to Droitwich Spa Barge Lock in Vines Park. The opening of the Junction Canal in 2011, completes the through route to the River Severn and opens the 21 mile Mid-Worcestershire Ring. Customers are reminded that the limiting dimensions on the Droitwich Junction Canal are Beam 2.1m (7ft,) Length 21.8m (71ft 6in,). Normal Headroom 1.9m ( 6ft 3in ) but variable, for the M5 tunnel, and draft 1.2m ( 4ft ).

Please note:
Moorings are scarce on both canals except in Netherwich Basin and Vines Park at Droitwich Spa. Also at the Droitwich Marina and at the top of lock one on the Junction canal.
There is a water point in Netherwich Basin (Droitwich) on the south east side of the moorings. Other water points can be found at Droitwich Marina, Diglis Basin, Hanbury Wharf, Bridge 42 Stoke Works and Stourport. The only  Elsan or pump out facilities on the Junction and Barge Canals is at the  Droitwich Marina, half way up the Junction Canal. Facilities are available at Diglis, Stourport, Dunhamstead and Tardebigge (Elsan Only.)

The canalised section of the River Salwarpe between Vines Park and Lock 7 on the Junction Canal is subject to rapid rises in level and flow following periods of rain therefore no overnight mooring on this section is allowed. Restrictions may  also  occur  between lock 7 and lock 6 where the Body Brook enters the Junction Canal. Rare flooding or drought can cause problems entering the tunnel under the M5.
